1.  CHILDREN'S LITURGY OF THE WORD

Weekly
The children at Mass (grades 1-8) are called forth for their own Liturgy of the Word (CLW) where they hear the readings in language leveled for their age group.

This is a regular part of the 10:30 Mass from September to May and helps our young folk grow in their love of Jesus through the stories of the holy Scripture.

2.  ALL FAMILY-FAITH DAYS

4th Sunday of the Month
We gather families of any size, of all configurations (especially extended families) for a time of prayer, sharing, learning and food.

The All Family-Faith Day gathering includes break-out time for adults and for children. 

We begin at 12:30 pm (after 10:30 Liturgy) with food and finish by 2:30 pm.

We meet September to May.  Note: December: no meeting  / January: 1st Sunday.

3.  SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION

 Baptism
For families preparing for Baptism of their baby, two preparatory classes are required.

First Eucharist / First Reconciliation
For families planning for the celebration of first Eucharist and first Reconciliation 
for their child, the first year requires participating in numbers 1 and 2 above.
 
The second year, there are twice-monthly classes for children and for parents between 
the two Sunday morning Liturgies, from Autumn to Spring.

Confirmation
For teens seeking Confirmation there are twice-monthly meetings during the school year 
and parents’ gatherings. Confirmations are celebrated every other year.

As we guide our young people in coming to know Jesus better and in preparing them to take their place in this world, we recognize the support that parents and guardians need in their parental task.

We gather monthly as families to hear from our tradition, to share the collective wisdom and to tell the story of who and whose we are.

We are moving our children out of the classroom and into the circle: the circle of family and of faith community.

We gather our children with our elders to hear/tell the story that is our story - the story of Jesus our Liberator and Brother, the story of our journey to freedom through Christ.
